Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has been handed a record £15.5 million valuation as Fantasy Premier League introduces new updates ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
The Norwegian forward’s price is the highest ever in FPL history, while Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has recorded the biggest price increase, moving up by £3 million to £12 million.
Arsenal defender Gabriel has also entered elite territory, with his £8 million valuation making him only the third defender in the game’s history to reach that figure.
The Premier League’s official Fantasy Premier League platform announced on Wednesday that live updates to mini-league standings will be among the key changes for the new season.
“For those who keep a close eye on their world ranking, your position in the global standings – and in all other leagues – will be continuously updated during matches,” the announcement stated.
The real-time updates will also extend to head-to-head matchups between managers and FPL Cup fixtures.
Projected bonus points will now appear on players’ scores after 20 minutes of each game and will continue to adjust during matches as the Bonus Points System updates.
FPL has also introduced a Price Change Predictor, which will monitor official data and transfer trends to highlight players who could increase or decrease in value daily.
“The data will always be a guide and doesn’t guarantee a price change,” the Premier League said, adding that regular use of the feature could help managers “stay ahead of the curve and steal a march on your mini-league rivals.”
Managers will also have improved squad views across the “Pick Team”, “Points” and “Transfers” sections, with details such as fixture difficulty, player ownership and upcoming opponents now easier to access.
