Nigerian singer Brymo has reignited his long-running feud with Burna Boy, declaring that he intends to retaliate over what he described as an offence committed by the Grammy-winning artist.
Speaking during a recent appearance on the NotJustOk podcast, Brymo revisited the dispute between the two musicians, insisting that Burna Boy crossed a line and would eventually have to answer for it.
The disagreement dates back to 2023, when Brymo accused Burna Boy of borrowing creative ideas from his work. Burna Boy later appeared to respond with a freestyle that included the line, “Hustle make you no go fall off like Brymo,” a lyric that quickly gained attention online.
Reflecting on the incident, Brymo said he has no intention of mentioning Burna Boy in his music but maintained that he has not forgotten the perceived slight.
“Your name no go ever appear for my song for life. You’re too small. Who is your mate?” Brymo said.
He added that Burna Boy’s affiliations would not deter him, saying, “I don’t care what fraternity you belong to. He has wronged me and I must take revenge.”
Brymo did not elaborate on what form the promised “revenge” would take. His comments come as the public disagreement between the two singers continues to generate reactions from fans on social media.
