Actor and filmmaker Lateef Adedimeji has shared details of the emotional journey that led to the birth of his triplet sons with his wife and fellow actress, Mo Bimpe.
Speaking during an interview with former Your View host Morayo Afolabi-Brown, Adedimeji said the couple’s years of waiting for children made the pregnancy especially meaningful, prompting him to give his wife extra care and attention throughout the period.
Describing Mo Bimpe as resilient, the actor said he admired the strength she displayed during the pregnancy.
According to Adedimeji, learning that they were expecting triplets came as a surprise and stirred mixed emotions. He said the news exceeded everything they had hoped for and reassured him that the period of waiting had been worthwhile.
The filmmaker also dismissed suggestions that he was absent during the delivery, stating that he remained by his wife’s side throughout the birth.
He said witnessing the delivery firsthand gave him an even greater appreciation for the sacrifices women make during childbirth.
Speaking on the possibility of expanding their family, Adedimeji said the decision ultimately rests with God. He added that while their newborns are all boys, his wife would love to have a daughter in the future, making another pregnancy a possibility.
The couple welcomed their triplet sons in May 2026 and announced the news in a video shared on social media. In the clip, Adedimeji and Mo Bimpe held up an ultrasound scan as the actor expressed gratitude to God, saying he had been blessed with more than he prayed for.
