The united opposition is facing growing internal divisions over the process of selecting and announcing its presidential candidate for the 2027 General Election.
Co-principals Martha Karua and Justin Muturi have publicly expressed reservations over the coalition’s approach, a day after DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua proposed delaying the announcement of the flag bearer until three months before the polls.
