Poland captain Robert Lewandowski is reportedly set to continue his career in Major League Soccer after agreeing to join Chicago Fire during the summer transfer window.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that the veteran striker reached an agreement with the American club following a visit to Chicago two weeks ago.
The 37-year-old is expected to complete the move early next week, bringing an end to his time at Barcelona after the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.
Before his spell in Spain, Lewandowski enjoyed a highly successful career in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.
The prolific forward is absent from the ongoing FIFA World Cup after Poland failed to qualify for the tournament.
