Gospel singer Kehinde Adegbodu, one half of the late Adegbodu Twins, has addressed growing concerns over his recent physical appearance, assuring fans that his weight loss is intentional and not the result of illness.
The singer spoke after many supporters expressed worries on social media, with some urging people close to him and religious leaders to check on his wellbeing following his noticeable change in appearance.
Responding to the concerns, Kehinde explained that he decided to embark on a weight-loss journey after receiving repeated advice from medical professionals in the wake of his twin brother Taiwo Adegbodu’s death.
According to him, several health experts encouraged him to reduce his protruding stomach, with some expressing regret that similar advice had not been given before his brother passed away.
“I have been seeing different comments. Someone said I slimmed down. Yes, I slimmed down for the benefit of my well-being,” he said.
Kehinde stressed that he is in good health and has simply been following a disciplined diet to improve his overall wellbeing.
“There is nothing wrong with me; I’m not sick. There’s nothing as good as being healthy,” he said, while thanking those who have genuinely expressed concern and asking supporters to continue praying for him.
He also responded to those mocking his appearance, saying he leaves them to God while remaining focused on maintaining his health.
Taiwo Adegbodu died on February 28, 2026, after reportedly suffering a heart attack. According to earlier reports, he had driven himself to a hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State, complaining of chest pain before his death.
