Afrobeats superstar Davido has pledged N15 million to a fan identified as Abazz after a public exchange on social media that highlighted the singer’s strong bond with his supporters.
The interaction began on Saturday after a user on X (formerly Twitter) claimed that Abazz had consistently shown support for Davido without receiving any financial assistance in return.
In response, Abazz expressed deep admiration for the singer, writing that his loyalty was not motivated by money.
“My love for him is greater than anything or any amount of money in this world. 001 till I dyeee,” he posted.
The post quickly gained attention online, prompting Davido, popularly known as “001”, to respond directly.
Quoting the message, the singer wrote: “Send your account abbaz 15m for u love u,” confirming a cash gift of N15 million.
Davido is widely known for his frequent financial gestures to fans, associates, and members of his online community, often using his platforms to reward loyalty and support.
