Nasarawa United coach Mbwas Mangut has said his team requires no additional motivation ahead of their President Federation Cup quarter-final showdown with Plateau United.
The Solid Miners are set to face their North-Central rivals at the Bwari Stadium in Abuja on Friday.
Mangut described the fixture as one that carries significance beyond the contest on the pitch.
“Doesn’t need an extra motivation for the game,” Mangut stated to the club’s media.
“The clash connotes more than football.”
Nasarawa United will take confidence from their previous meeting in the competition, having recorded a 3-0 victory over Plateau United in 2022.
