Two people were shot dead on Monday in Nanyuki, during demonstrations against the proposed Ebola quarantine facility at the Laikipia Airbase.
Three others sustained serious injuries, including two who suffered gunshot wounds, while another was allegedly struck with a baton by a police officer in an incident captured on camera.
As grieving families demand justice, local residents and leaders have continued to oppose plans for the controversial facility.
