Rising Nigerian singer Shoday has shared the reason behind his decision not to get tattoos, saying his choice is driven by caution and a practical outlook on life in the music industry.
Speaking in an interview, the artiste, whose real name is Segun Shodade, explained that he remains mindful of the uncertainty that often comes with a career in entertainment.
He said his decision is influenced by the possibility that music may not always provide long-term stability, adding that he prefers to keep his options open.
According to him, if his music career does not progress as expected, he is prepared to return to a traditional office job rather than rely solely on entertainment.
“I don’t have a tattoo on my body because I am skeptical… if music doesn’t work, I will carry my files and go back to office work,” he said.
