FC Barcelona are reportedly planning to sign Marcus Rashford on a permanent basis despite nearing a ÂŁ70 million agreement for Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon.
Questions had emerged over Rashford’s future at the club following Gordon’s expected arrival, but reports indicate Barcelona remain keen on keeping the England forward after his successful loan spell from Manchester United.
According to the Daily Mail, the Spanish champions are expected to continue discussions this week, although they are not interested in another temporary deal.
Rashford impressed under manager Hansi Flick during the 2025/26 season, registering 14 goals and 10 assists, and has already expressed his desire to remain at the Nou Camp beyond the summer.
