Actress Regina Daniels has shared personal details about her family life, revealing that she no longer sees herself getting married again despite her strong wish to have a daughter.
The Nollywood star made the comments during a livestream conversation with TikTok personality Jarvis, where she spoke about motherhood, relationships and her separation from her children.
Daniels disclosed that she has not seen her children since last year but remains optimistic that they will reunite in the near future.
According to the actress, she has emotionally withdrawn from the idea of marriage for personal reasons. However, she said she still hopes to experience raising a girl child, describing it as a unique aspect of motherhood.
“The last time I saw my children was last year. I know one day, I’ll see them again, very soon. But for some reason I have checked my mind out of getting married but I’m yet to have a girl and I must have a girl child. I feel like you’d understand motherhood better when you have a girl child,” she said during the livestream.
Daniels, who is a mother of two, added that having a daughter would offer a different emotional connection and deepen her understanding of motherhood.
The actress separated from her husband, Ned Nwoko, in October last year following a public disagreement that attracted widespread attention online.
Her latest remarks have since sparked conversations among fans on social media, with many reacting to her candid reflections on family and relationships.
