Nollywood actress Shan George has spoken out on the ongoing marital controversy involving media personality Frank Edoho and his estranged wife, Sandra Edoho, condemning infidelity and calling for maturity in handling relationship conflicts.
In a lengthy Facebook post, the actress argued that periods of silence or unresolved disagreements in marriage should never be used as justification for cheating.
According to her, some individuals naturally withdraw or remain quiet while processing emotions, especially during tense situations, and such behaviour should not automatically be interpreted as abandonment or hostility.
George explained that conflict and resentment are common experiences in many forms of relationships, including marriages, workplaces, and even family settings between parents and children.
She stressed that the way couples respond during difficult periods often determines the strength or collapse of the relationship, warning against retaliatory behaviour while issues remain unresolved.
The actress maintained that infidelity remains unacceptable as long as a married couple still lives together as husband and wife.
She also criticised men who become involved with married women, describing such actions as morally wrong regardless of any ongoing disagreements within the marriage.
Addressing women facing challenges in their marriages, George advised those who feel exhausted after making genuine efforts to consider leaving the relationship instead of engaging in affairs outside the marriage.
As part of her argument, she referenced Afrobeats singer Mr Eazi, recalling a previous situation in which he reportedly communicated with his wife through email during a disagreement rather than speaking directly.
According to her, people handle conflict differently, and temporary silence should not automatically trigger a ārevengeā response from a partner.
Her comments have since generated reactions online as discussions continue around marriage, communication, and fidelity within celebrity relationships.
