Nigerian TikTok creator Olumide Ogunsanwo, popularly known as Sea King, has criticised Yoruba Nation activist Sunday Adeyemo over his perceived silence following recent violent attacks in Oyo State.
In a video posted on his Instagram page on Tuesday, Sea King reacted to the abduction of teachers and students from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinele, in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, which occurred on May 15, 2026.
According to reports, armed attackers later killed one of the abducted teachers, identified as Michael Oyedokun, on May 17, 2026, and released footage of the incident alongside a video showing the school principal appealing to authorities to negotiate for the safety of those still in captivity.
Reacting to the incident, Sea King questioned Igboho’s silence on the matter despite his past vows to confront insecurity in the region.
He accused the activist of failing to live up to earlier commitments in which he promised to mobilise support against armed groups operating in Yoruba land.
Tagging Igboho’s social media handle, the TikToker described the situation as a betrayal of public expectations, suggesting that the silence amounted to political behaviour rather than activism.
“Where is Sunday Igboho? … You vowed to eradicate the bandits and promised to lead 50,000 men. Now the killings haven’t stopped. So where is the action?” he said in the video.
He further argued that silence following Igboho’s removal from the federal wanted list amounted to “politics,” not bravery.
Igboho recently returned to Nigeria after spending nearly five years in exile following a 2021 raid on his Ibadan residence by the Department of State Services (DSS) under the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The activist had previously been at the centre of the Yoruba Nation agitation movement before his return to the country earlier this year.
