Tensions flared during the first episode of the Big Brother Naija Season 10 reunion show aired on Thursday night, as former housemates Thelma Lawson and Big Soso engaged in a heated on-air confrontation.
The argument escalated after Thelma accused Soso of hypocrisy during their time in the BBNaija house, suggesting that she displayed inconsistent behaviour and struggled with her personal identity on the show.
Speaking during the exchange, Thelma defended fellow housemate Dede, who had been previously accused by Soso of inappropriate behaviour and misleading some male contestants during the season.
In the heat of the moment, Thelma criticised Soso’s conduct, claiming she appeared unsure of her direction and identity while in the house.
“You didn’t know if you wanted to be an entrepreneur, a chief, a prophetess or an ashawo,” she said during the confrontation.
The argument quickly intensified, prompting the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, to step in and restore order on set.
Although Big Soso later issued an apology to Dede for her earlier remarks, Dede reportedly did not accept the apology.
The exchange has since sparked conversations among fans, as the reunion season continues to revisit unresolved tensions from the BBNaija Season 10 house.
