Traders in Githurai, Kiambu County have expressed concerns over trading inside Githurai market, stating that the 5-storey building is not fit for their businesses, due to its design.
The traders claim the multi-storeyed building is a hindrance to potential customers, thus depriving them of income.
The market now remains empty as some of the traders vow not to occupy the stalls if all traders are not accommodated in the building.
