Manchester United have reportedly ruled out reintegrating goalkeeper Andre Onana into their squad at Old Trafford this summer, even after securing qualification for next season’s UEFA Champions League.
The Cameroonian shot-stopper was earlier loaned to Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor following a run of underwhelming performances, with United subsequently bringing in Senne Lammens as a replacement option.
Onana’s loan spell is expected to end in the coming weeks, and he is believed to be open to returning to fight for his place at the club where he arrived from Inter Milan after previously starring for Ajax.
However, according to ESPN, Manchester United have no intention of keeping him in their plans and are already exploring potential permanent transfer options.
