Kwara United have acknowledged the strong backing they received from football supporters and stakeholders in Lagos during the club’s temporary stay in the city.
Club chairman Kumbi Titiloye praised the level of support shown, describing it as exceptional and highly impactful to the team’s recent performances in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
The Harmony Boys enjoyed an impressive run at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, recording four victories and one draw during their home fixtures in Lagos.
“We thank Lagos for their support,” Titiloye told the club’s media.
“Their unwavering commitment played a pivotal role in securing positive results while temporarily playing at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.”
Kwara United currently sit 11th on the NPFL table and will conclude their season with an away fixture against relegated Bayelsa United in Yenagoa on May 24.
