Nigerian actress and producer Uche Montana has celebrated a major achievement after the first two parts of her film project Monica amassed a combined 35 million views on YouTube.
According to the actress, the second instalment alone reached 15 million views within four days of its release, while the first part has crossed the 20 million mark.
Montana described the response to the project as emotional and far beyond what she initially imagined when the film was conceived.
In a message shared with fans, she said the audience’s connection to the story and its characters has been one of the most rewarding experiences of her career.
“What started as an idea, a vision, and a risk has turned into something far bigger than I imagined,” she wrote.
