Veteran comedian Ali Baba has expressed appreciation to Air Peace after the airline recovered an iPad he lost during a flight earlier this year.
The device went missing on February 28, and the comedian initially believed it had been permanently lost. He later revealed that he had begun considering raising funds to replace the gadget.
In a post shared on Instagram, Ali Baba disclosed that the cost of replacing the 13.9-inch, 1TB iPad had become a concern, noting that even second-hand units abroad now sell for over ₦1 million.
Despite the delay, the airline was eventually able to locate the device and return it to him, bringing an end to months of uncertainty.
Confirming its recovery, the comedian publicly thanked Air Peace, acknowledging the effort made to retrieve the item. He said he had already assumed the iPad was gone before receiving the update that it had been found.
The incident highlights ongoing concerns around lost items during air travel, while also underscoring the role of airline recovery processes in resolving such cases.
