Businessman and entertainer E-Money has pledged ₦50 million to streamer Carter Efe following his victory over singer Portable in a celebrity boxing match held in Lagos.
Carter Efe secured a unanimous decision win, with judges scoring the bout 27–30 in his favour across all three scorecards. The fight took place early Saturday at Chaos in the Ring 4, staged at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island.
The result brought an end to Portable’s run as the reigning celebrity boxing champion, marking a shift in the competition’s hierarchy.
E-Money, whose real name is Emeka Okonkwo, confirmed the cash reward shortly after the bout. The pledge was reiterated ringside after it was announced by Ezekiel Adamu, chief executive of Balmoral Group Promotions.
Congratulating the winner, E-Money stated that his promise would be fulfilled, describing the reward as recognition for Carter Efe’s performance in the ring.
Event organiser Adamu said the latest edition of the boxing showcase met expectations, highlighting the quality of the fights and audience turnout. He added that further editions of the event are already being planned.
Chaos in the Ring continues to draw attention as a crossover platform blending entertainment and sport, with celebrity participants attracting growing public interest.
