Music executive Ubi Franklin has issued a strong warning over alleged coordinated online attacks targeting singer Davido, his wife Chioma Adeleke, and members of the Adeleke family.
In posts shared on X on Tuesday, Franklin—who also serves as Chioma’s manager—said individuals involved in what he described as organised online harassment would soon face legal consequences.
According to him, those behind private group chats allegedly used to spread harmful messages would be required to answer to law enforcement authorities.
“One after the other, you will explain to the law enforcement what Chef Chi has done to all of you… we will follow the rules, and you will be served,” he wrote.
Franklin further claimed that he had seen disturbing messages circulating within some online groups, suggesting coordinated efforts to target Chioma and her family.
He described the situation as more than ordinary social media criticism, insisting it amounts to deliberate and repeated harassment.
According to him, the alleged actions extend beyond Chioma alone and also affect Davido, himself, and the wider Adeleke family.
Franklin urged the public to recognise such behaviour as cyberbullying rather than normal celebrity discourse, stressing that legal steps may be taken against those involved.
Chioma Adeleke, widely known as “Chef Chi,” has often been the subject of online commentary tied to her marriage to Davido. Such discussions have included criticism of her public appearances, lifestyle, and role as a celebrity chef, as well as broader fan rivalries within Nigeria’s music industry.
Franklin’s comments add to ongoing conversations around cyberbullying and online harassment in Nigeria’s entertainment space, where public figures frequently face intense scrutiny on social media platforms.
