In a post shared on Instagram on Friday, Jennifer revisited the painful events of April 10, 2024, when the actor lost his life in a tragic boat accident in Anambra State.
Junior Pope, alongside several others, drowned in the Anam River while returning from a movie location, a development that shocked the Nigerian film industry and fans alike.
Reflecting on that day, Jennifer described the moment she received the devastating news, admitting she initially struggled to believe it was real.
She recounted being taken to the scene, where she was confronted with the sight of her husband’s lifeless body, an experience she said remains difficult to process.
Jennifer also spoke about the emotional toll the tragedy took on her, including her hospitalisation and the disbelief she felt even after his death was confirmed.
Despite the pain, she expressed gratitude for God’s support over the past two years, noting that she has remained strong while raising their children.
She reaffirmed her commitment to moving forward, holding on to faith as she continues life without her husband.
“It hasn’t been easy, but God has been faithful,” she wrote, adding that she believes he continues to watch over the family.
