American rapper Cardi B has vowed to ensure prosecution after alleging that her stolen credit card was used for a high-value shopping spree.
Speaking during an Instagram livestream, the award-winning artist revealed that her American Express card was taken from her wallet a few days earlier.
She claimed the suspects went on to make significant purchases at luxury retail stores, including items worth approximately $40,000 at Saks Fifth Avenue, followed by an additional $20,000 spent at an Apple Store before she was able to freeze the account.
According to Cardi B, she was able to quickly track activity linked to the card and secure clear images of the individuals involved.
Expressing anger over the incident, she said she does not take financial matters lightly and intends to pursue legal consequences for those responsible.
âI got clear pictures of you all in Saks and in the Apple store. One thing about me is that I donât play with my money,â she said during the livestream.
The rapper further alleged that the suspects attempted to withdraw money through Chase Bank, adding that she has already gathered evidence that could lead to their arrest.
She concluded by warning that the individuals involved would face jail time once identified.
