Nollywood actress Sunshine Rosman has voiced strong concern over Nigeria’s worsening economic and security situation, calling for urgent action from both citizens and leaders.
In an emotional video, the actress questioned the country’s response to growing hardship, rising poverty levels, and persistent insecurity, particularly in parts of northern Nigeria affected by violent attacks.
Rosman expressed frustration that many Nigerians appear to have become accustomed to difficult living conditions despite the scale of the challenges. She described the current state of affairs as deeply troubling, noting that both economic struggles and safety concerns are taking a heavy toll on citizens.
According to her, while the economic downturn has strained livelihoods, the continued loss of lives and displacement of communities has made the crisis even more alarming. She highlighted the plight of residents forced to flee their homes due to insecurity, adding that many feel unprotected.
The actress urged Nigerians not to remain silent, stressing that the situation requires collective awareness and response.
Her remarks come amid ongoing reports of attacks, fatalities, and destruction of property in several parts of the country, further intensifying concerns about national security and living conditions.
