Legendary Canadian singer Celine Dion has confirmed her return to live performances, four years after stepping back from the stage due to health challenges.
The 58-year-old made the announcement in a video message titled “The Best Gift of My Life,” revealing plans for a limited 10-night residency at the Paris La Défense Arena. The shows are scheduled to take place between September and October.
Dion’s return marks a significant moment in her recovery following her 2022 diagnosis with Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare condition that forced her to cancel her Courage World Tour and pause her career.
In her message, the singer expressed gratitude to fans for their unwavering support during her time away, noting that she feels stronger and ready to reconnect with audiences.
“This year, I’m getting the best birthday gift of my life — the chance to see you and perform for you again,” she said, adding that she is managing her health well and feeling optimistic.
Her return follows a series of emotional public appearances, including a documentary released in 2024 and a widely praised performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, reinforcing her resilience and enduring vocal strength.
The upcoming residency is expected to draw global attention as fans anticipate Dion’s long-awaited comeback to the stage.
