The Director General of the Cross River State Bureau of Public-Private Partnerships, Dr Francis Ntamu, has described the N60 billion Obudu Mountain Resort project as easily manageable for Living Curation Real Estate Limited.
Speaking during an interview on ARISE News on Wednesday, the Director General of the Cross River State Bureau of Public-Private Partnerships, Dr Francis Ntamu, said Living Curation Real Estate Limited has the capacity to execute the N60 billion Obudu Mountain Resort concession.
Ntamu said the company was capable of handling the project because it is a subsidiary of a major International Oil Company in Nigeria.
“Now what I’ve just said here is that if you take a look at Living Curation, Living Curation is not to be seen in silo. It’s a subsidiary of a major IOC in Nigeria and I don’t have their approvals to call the name on the station. It’s a major you can look for that back in check or factoring them.”
He said the state government had conducted due diligence on the company before approving the concession.
“So if you come there, 60 billion is a piece of cake for this entity. We’ve done due diligence and the cable car, let me switch to the cable car and go back to live.”
Ntamu also said the project had reached the handover stage, with a stakeholders’ engagement session held at the resort.
“Yeah it’s a 60 billion Naira project and we are glad that just last week Friday we had the project handover with a robust stakeholders engagement session right there at the ranch.”
He said the project would help restore key facilities and experiences associated with the Obudu Mountain Resort.
“Now Obudu Mountain Resort and it’s an experience I’m glad you’re bringing this up. An experience we would love Nigerians to have.”
