Nigerian music veteran 9ice has sent a heartfelt birthday message to Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face or 2Baba, as he marked his 50th birthday on Thursday.
While celebrating the “African Queen” singer, 9ice cautioned that not everyone is pleased with 2Face’s success and longevity in the music industry.
“2Face, happy birthday to you. I wish you long life and prosperity. I know so many wish you fall but you shall never fall. I love you. You shall prosper,” 9ice said in a video message.
The “Gonga So” crooner assured his colleague that, despite envy and opposition, his legacy and influence would remain unshaken.
“You are not going to fall. It’s just a phase of life. You will always overcome it. I love you. God bless you. Happy birthday to you,” he added.
