
The Super Eagles’ camp in Polokwane came alive on Tuesday with the arrival of 17 players ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying clash against Lesotho.
The Nigerian team, who opened camp on Monday, will hold their first official training session later tonight as preparations intensify for the matchday nine encounter at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Friday.
Six more players are still expected to join the squad before the full complement assembles.
Those already in camp include William Troost-Ekong, Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Chrisantus Uche, Wilfred Ndidi, Bruno Onyemaechi, Terem Moffi, Moses Simon, Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi, Samuel Chukwueze, Frank Onyeka, Tolu Arokodare, Semi Ajayi, Stanley Nwabali, Adebayo Adeleye, and Amas Obasogie.
Nigeria will be looking to secure maximum points against the Crocodiles as they continue their push for a place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
